Fusarium Rot or Stem Rot or Stems Lodging in Cardamom

SYMPTOMS

The base of stems shows brown to black rotting lesions, causing plants to lodge or fall over at ground level. Affected stems become soft and water-soaked internally, and the plant wilts rapidly even when soil moisture is adequate.
