SYMPTOMS

Seedlings may show damping-off at or near the soil surface, collapsing suddenly with a water-soaked, discolored stem base. In older seedlings, dark lesions on the stem, wilting, and poor germination rates indicate seed-borne or soil-borne disease infection.
