SYMPTOMS

Potato seed pieces infected with fungal pathogens rot in the soil before or shortly after sprouting, leading to poor and gappy plant emergence. Emerging sprouts may show brown, water-soaked lesions at the base, and plants that do establish may be stunted with yellowing lower leaves.
