Alternaria leaf spot in Watermelon

SYMPTOMS

Small, dark brown to black circular spots with concentric rings appear on leaves, stems, and sometimes fruit of watermelon. Lesions enlarge under humid conditions, causing leaves to blight, dry out, and defoliate, reducing fruit size and yield.
