Cercospora leaf spot in Watermelon

SYMPTOMS

Small, circular to angular reddish-brown spots with grayish centers appear on watermelon leaves, often surrounded by a yellow halo. Heavily infected leaves turn yellow and drop prematurely, reducing the photosynthetic area and weakening the plant.
