Katyayani Homobrassinolide 0.04% w/w PGR Bloom Booster for Flower Drop

Katyayani Bloom Booster is a plant growth regulator containing Homobrassinolide 0.04% w/w that improves flowering and fruit set and reduces flower and fruit drop. The label dose is 8 to 10 ml per 15 litres of water, or 100 ml per acre, as a foliar spray before flowering and again at early fruit set. It is meant for vegetables, fruits and flower crops. It is not the same as the Katyayani Flowering Fertilizer + Micro Mix, which is a nutrient-based booster.

Spray 8 to 10 ml per 15 litres of water before flowering, and again at early fruit setting; the per-acre figure is 100 ml.

The label method is foliar spray, at two stages: before flowering and at early fruit setting.

The label lists vegetables, fruits and flower crops. The most useful moments are the pre-flowering stage and early fruit set, when the crop decides how many flowers to carry and how many young fruits to hold. Spraying after heavy flower or fruit drop has already begun is late; this product is for prevention, not for reversing a drop that has happened.
