Katyayani Bhumiraja Mycorrhiza VAM Granular Biofertilizer
Product description
Bhumiraja Mycorrhiza is a granular VAM (Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza) biofertilizer that helps roots reach more phosphorus, nitrogen, sulphur and water. It is not a plant food. Its fungal threads grow from the root into the surrounding soil and widen the area the root can draw from.
It suits crops that form mycorrhizal roots: paddy, wheat, coconut, banana, sugarcane, cardamom, tea, coffee, pepper, cereals, pulses, legumes, vegetables, turmeric and cotton. The gain is largest in soils low in available phosphorus, because phosphorus uptake is the main job of the fungus.
Apply 4 to 8 kg per acre at sowing, so the fungus meets young roots.

Direct broadcast, or mixed with granular fertilizer |
4 to 8 kg per acre, at sowing |

Mixed with organic matter |
4 to 10 kg with 50 to 80 kg of farmyard manure, compost or vermicompost, then applied to the field |
Timing: At sowing or transplanting. Place it where it will touch the root zone, as in a planting pit or furrow, and keep the soil moist. For nursery seedlings, a slurry root dip is a common method. It is a one-time application at the start of the crop, not a spray.
