Katyayani NPK 12:61:00 Water-Soluble Fertilizer for Roots & Flowering
Product description
NPK 12:61:00 is Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP), a fully water-soluble fertilizer with 12% nitrogen and 61% phosphorus and no potassium. It is used at the start of the season to build early roots, and again around flowering when phosphorus demand rises.
It can be given as a foliar spray, through drip, or as a drench. It suits cereals, millets, pulses, oilseeds, fruits, vegetables, spices, flowers, cotton, jute and sugarcane. Because it has no potassium, it is a starter and flowering-support grade, not a full-season feed.
Spray 5 g per litre of water, or give 3 to 5 kg per acre by drip or drenching.

Timing: At or soon after sowing or transplanting, when roots form and phosphorus need is highest, and again before flowering if the crop is short of phosphorus. Foliar feeds are commonly given two to three times at 10 to 15 day intervals from about 30 to 40 days after sowing to pre-flowering. Dissolve fully before it enters the drip line. Later in the season, a balanced grade such as NPK 19:19:19 suits better than this phosphorus-heavy grade.
