Katyayani Triple Attack Verticillium + Beauveria + Metarhizium
Product description
Katyayani Triple Attack is a liquid bio-insecticide that combines three insect-killing fungi: Verticillium lecanii, Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae. It is used against sucking, chewing and soil-dwelling pests in vegetables, cereals, millets, oilseeds, paddy, fruits and plantation crops, and it fits organic farming and IPM programmes. Because it is a living product that kills by infection, expect pests to die over several days, not hours. It works best as an early, preventive spray rather than a rescue for a heavy attack.
Triple Attack targets pests that are exposed on the plant or in the soil.
- Sucking pests: mealybugs, aphids, thrips, whiteflies, jassids, hoppers
- Chewing pests: beetles, caterpillars, moths, cutworms, semiloopers
- Other insects: root weevils, termites, bugs, grubs, borers, scales, leaf-feeding insects
- Crops: chilli, tomato, okra, brinjal, mango, banana, litchi, grapes, paddy, wheat, green gram, chickpea, black gram, and other agricultural and plantation crops. The label also allows home garden, kitchen garden and nursery use.
The label dose is 2 litres per acre, for both foliar and soil application.

- Spray in the late afternoon or evening, or on a cloudy day, because sunlight (UV) damages fungal spores.
- Cover both sides of the leaves and the growing tips, where thrips, whiteflies and aphids sit.
- Use the soil application when grubs, root weevils or termites are the target.
- Start when the first pests appear. Do not tank-mix or spray close to a chemical fungicide, because fungicides usually kill the spores.
- Borers already inside the stem or fruit are shielded from contact, so time the spray for the exposed stages.
